The Wahkiakum Lions Club Student of the Month for January, 2016 was Alec Cothren, shown with Susan Kuhn, Student of the Month Coordinator. Alec said he can't say "no" to good food and he was excited about graduating from high school. His dream is to become a writer and change the world.

The Wahkiakum Lions Club Student of the Month for February, 2016 was Zachary McDougall, shown with Susan Kuhn, Student of the Month Coordinator. Zach has a goal to become a professional firefighter and paramedic and hopes to get an internship at a fire district. In his spare time he loves lifting weights.

The Wahkiakum Lions Club Student of the Month for May, 2016 was Ryan Quigley, shown with Susan Kuhn, Student of the Month Coordinator. Ryan was active in sports and earned the 2015-16 Varsity Basketball MVP award. He loves playing basketball and in addition to the MVP award, he received the Best Offensive Player and received honorary 2B league mention. After high school Ryan would like to jump right in to the work force and hopes someday to be a millionaire!
