The local community contributed more than $153,000 at Community Home Health & Hospice’s charity care fundraiser, A Taste of Tuscany. More than 450 guests “partied with a purpose” to support Community’s charity care program. Charity care includes patient care for uninsured/underinsured patients demonstrating financial need, community grief care for anyone who has lost a loved one under any circumstances, support services for veterans in their last days of hospice, and more. Last year, Community spent $663,812 on charity care.
“On behalf of families these funds will support, we thank everyone who played a part in this year’s success lead by volunteer co-chairs Kirsten Amrine and Rhonda Sandretto. We couldn’t do it without our generous community, volunteers and staff. The support from the event is testament to our mission,” said President and CEO Greg Pang.
