FOS lists events for June

Friends of Skamokawa will present an experiment this June. Instead of an art or archival exhibit they have decided to present some of the exciting music and poetry making Wahkiakum County such a special place. Here is a list of the six events with dates and short descriptions of the performers.

Sunday, June 5th- 2 p.m., Kerrie McNally vocal with Layton Elliott on guitar.

Saturday, June 11th - 7 p.m., The Cliffs of Cathlamet Concert with Jillian Raye and Eric Friend and with the well known author and poet Robert Pyle who will read from his new book of poems.

Sunday, June 12th - 2 p.m., Hank & Lloyd Concert with Beth Semar Sheets, Pete Davis and Donny Wages.

Saturday, June 18th - 7 p.m., David McKenzie.

Saturday, June 25th - 2 p.m., Jerry Ledtke & Friends.

Sunday, June 26th - (Final Concert of Series) Layton and Pam Elliott.

These concerts will all be $10 at the door with children 12 and under free. There will be refreshments served during the breaks. The concerts last two hours, with a break in the middle. They will be held at the River Life Interpretive Center on the second floor of Redmen Hall at 1394 W SR4 in Skamokawa. They are benefit concerts for the much needed painting of Redmen Hall.
