Wahkiakum Mule Golf

Wahkiakum Mule sophomore golfer Bryce Good shot 92 and was one of 12 players who made the cut to continue playing on day two at Newaukum Valley Golf Course in Chehalis on Tuesday.

The top eight players and one alternate go to State. Bryce is currently in eighth place and has a three stroke lead over two players tied for ninth. Bryce had a solid ball striking day but never made a putt over four feet.

Also golfing for the Mules in their first trip to the post season were Sophomore Connor Thompson 124, Freshman Zach Johnston 114, and eighth graders Gage Horman 108, Elijah Doiron 117 and Tyler St. Onge DQ.

Bryce teed off yesterday (Wednesday) as The Eagle went to press. Sarah Shi is the third seed at bi--district in Oak Harbor on Thursday.
