WHS play set for tomorrow (Friday)

Submitted by Audrey Petterson,

Knowledge Bowl Coach

A devastating storm, treachery, magic, buffoonery, and young love will occur on the Wahkiakum High School stage at 1 p.m., on Friday, April 29 when Seattle Shakespeare returns with The Tempest.

Community members who enjoy Shakespeare’s plays are warmly invited to attend. Students are preparing to view the play with readings and workshops.

Community members made this and last year’s Seattle Shakespeare Macbeth production possible by donating to the Wahkiakum High School Arts Fund. We would love to sustain this annual event, and welcome further donations, which may be mailed to or given at the high school office (P.O. Box 398, Cathlamet, WA, 98612).

Advance thanks to Hotel Cathlamet for housing our actors, and to others who have donated!
