What's happening at the Fair?

Wow! April is over and May is beginning. That means we only have three months until fair. There is going to be a lot of construction going on at the fairgrounds this summer. We will be getting the new bathrooms thanks to a grant from WSDA. Also the county and PUD are going to do some electric upgrades and there will be some insulation going in to the youth building soon.

A couple weeks ago I gave you a fair theme; at the Fair Board’s last meeting it was changed so the 2016 fair theme is "Catch The Fair Bug.”

May brings lots to do at the fairgrounds. The monthly Flea Market will be on May 7 from 9 a.m., to 3 p.m. Hope to see everyone there. We will have a clean up day on May 21 starting at 10 a.m., with a BBQ for lunch. So if you would like to come help us clean up the fair grounds come on down.

June will bring Dollars for Scholars to the fairgrounds on June 4. June 11 will be the monthly Flea Market. On June 25 we will hold the first series in the Silver Buckle. More information will be coming out soon.

The fair is still looking for Fair Royalty. Anyone interested should call the office (360)795-3480. Any one interested in being a vendor or entertainer should also call the office.
