Wahkiakum Mule Golf

The Wahkiakum Mule Golf Team played five teams at Willapa Harbor Golf Course in Raymond last week and shot 211 losing to Adna 202 while defeating Raymond 248, South Bend, Valley and Napavine who all were incomplete. Sophomore Bryce Good and eighth grader Tyler St. Onge tied for third and fourth shooting 49 in the 21 player event. Freshman Zach Johnston shot 54, and 8th grader Elijah Doiron 59 to complete the four man aggregate scoring. Gage Horman 65 and Connor Thompson 68 also competed.

The Mules had enough boys eligible that they didn't require the services of Sarah Shi to complete the team, but they could have used her talents as she medaled in the ladies, event shooting 46. The Mules moved their intra-conference record to 18-6 and traveled to Lacey to play Northwest Christian on Monday.
