The Wahkiakum Mules track team traveled to Napavine for a Central 2B meet last April 14 to compete against Napavine, Pe Ell and Adna. The Lady Mules placed first in team competition with 104 points, and the Mules placed fourth in competition among the boys with 13 points.

For the girls, Grace Peacock won the 100 meters with a time of 13.76. She also took third place in the 200 meters with a time of 28.76.

Rory Heywood placed second in the 200 meters with a time of 28.62. She took second in the high jump, clearing 4-08 and won the triple jump with a distance of 30-02.

Tyra Elliott placed third in the 400 meters with a time of 1:07.09. Cheyenne Barton was eight seconds behind her and took fourth with a time of 1:15.16.

Ellie Leitz won the 800 meters with a time of 2:42.89. She also placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 29-09.

Grayci Thomas took third place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:55.09.

Macie Elliott won the 1600 meters with a time of 5:53.06. She also placed fifth in the discus, with a throw of 72-08.

Rayanna Carlon placed second in the 3200 meters with a time of 17:35.82. Katharine Choi took third place with a time of 17:40.59. Bryanna Peek came in fourth with a time of 18:58.79.

Charlie Ashe took second place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 20.02. She took second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 58.61. She also finished third in the high jump, clearing 4-08.

Destiny McGowan won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 56.69.

Barton, M. Elliott, T. Elliott and Peacock won the 4 x 100 meter relay with a time of 55.12. Ashe, McKensi Fluckiger, Leitz and McGowan placed third with a time of 58.39.

Barton, T. Elliott, R. Heywood and Peacock placed second in the 4 x 200 meter relay with a time of 1:55.9. Katharine Choi, Mia Li, Mckinnah Nielsen and Thomas took fourth place with a time of 2:16.05.

Barton, M. Elliott, T. Elliott and Leitz placed second in the 4 x 400 meter relay with a time of 4:47.42.

Tarah Wisner placed second in the shot put with a distance of 26-08. She also placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 73-00.

Mica Kincade placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 24-05.

Fluckiger took third place in the long jump with a distance of 12-10. She also placed third in the triple jump clearing 28-04.5.

For the boys, Josiah Romines placed fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 27.77. Putter Thongkijlaohachai took fourth in the 3200 meters with a time of 14:01.09. The 4 x 100 relay team of Ryan Quigley, Josiah Romines, Flavio Stucki and Thongkijlaohachai took second place with a time of 52.08.

Quigley took second place in the high jump, clearing 5-04. He placed sixth in the long jump, and fourth in the triple jump with distances of 15-09 and 33-03 respectively.
