New exhibit at Redmen Hall set for April 16

Friends of Skamokawa's next exhibit will begin April 16, featuring a well known local artist, Rachael Wolford. Her exhibit "Elements, and Exhibit of Painting and Poetry" will be the last one she will present at Redmen Hall.

“She has been one of the most treasured contributers to our exhibit schedule with previous shows of landscapes, fishing scenes, and the previous one of a long look at the Columbia River. Her painting and poetry are beautiful and serene with a special insight into what it means to live close to such a majestic river. We have been blessed to have such a talented member of our community and are grateful to be showing her last example of her vision of living in the Lower Columbian Basin,” said Jill Hatier.

The exhibit opens with a reception on April 16, and runs through May 29. Refreshments will be served. The River Life Interpretive Center is on the 2nd floor of Redmen Hall located at 1394 SR 4 in Skamokawa. For more information call 360-795-3007. The hall is open Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
