On March 28 at 6 p.m., Gary Fredricks and Sheila Gray, Washington State University extension agents, will discuss local soils and how they provide nutrients to plants.
Participants will bring in a soil sample from their garden and run analysis on it using a Rapitest soil test kit. Testing results will be discussed in class. Cost for the course is $25 per family.
The program, sponsored by Washington State University Extension, will be held at the Cowlitz County Training Center, 1942 First Avenue in Longview. Class registration is due by March 25. Class registration is limited to 25 people.
