Help offered to start a small business

On March 17 at noon, Jerry Petrick from the WSU Small Business Development Center, will discuss starting and managing a business.

Success in small business starts with decisive and correct decisions. Although initial mistakes are not fatal, it takes skill and hard work to gain the advantage.

The Small Business Development Center is a free service to help answer business questions. Learn the basics of what to do and not to do when starting a new business. Discover what resources are available locally, including help in building a business plan.

This program, sponsored by Washington State University Extension, will be held for free at the Cowlitz Co. Administration Building, Room 300, 207 4th Ave North, Kelso. For more information, contact Gary Fredricks at 577-3014 Ext 3 or garyf@wsu.edu.
