Charles B. Falconer

Chuck Brett Falconer, 56, of Cathlamet passed away peacefully Feb. 22, 2016, at the Hospice Care Center.

He was born April 12, 1959, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert Falconer and Norma Shores. Chuck grew up in Cowlitz County and relocated to California in his teen years. At 17, Chuck joined the Air Force and was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base working as a security guard. He left the Air Force in 1978 and traveled back to California where he reunited with the love of his life, Lorraine Crispin. They were married Dec. 15, 1979, in Reno, Nev. They have two daughters, Jennifer, 34, and Lorrie, 32.

Chuck received his GED and attended Merced County College. He worked as a custodian cleaning the Wahkiakum County buildings, and in maintenance at St. James Family Center. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, mechanics, bird watching, wildlife, electronics, building and flying remote controlled airplanes, drawing and designing.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his two daughters, Jennifer Lorenzo (William) of Longview and Lorrie Cowan (Nathaniel) of Astoria, Ore .; his mother, Norma Arness of Longview; two sisters, Tammy Shores and Jewel Kehrli (John), both of Cathlamet; two brothers, Burt Falconer in Washington and Richard Falconer (Lynn) of Westport, Wash .; five grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Chuck’s life will be held later in the spring.
