Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
On Friday, February 26, in conjunction with Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce, Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments will host a bicycle and pedestrian facilities open house from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cathlamet Community Center (101 Main Street).
The purpose of the meeting is to identify a proposed bicycle and pedestrian network. Public input will help guide the development of active transportation projects in Wahkiakum County for the next 20 years.
It will be an open house format and the public is invited to stop by any time during the event to provide input.
