Comet boys beat Acorns; face Shorewood Saturday

The Naselle Comets boys basketball team placed third in the Southwest District 1B tournament on Saturday after beating the Oakville Acorns 45-41.

The Comets will face Shorewood Christian in regional play on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Renton High School. The winner of the game will continue on to the State 1B tournament which takes place in Spokane on March 3-5, 2016.
