Lady Mules lose to Napavine; face Ilwaco tonight (Friday) in district play

Despite a loss to Napavine on Wednesday night in Tumwater, the Lady Mules were able to secure a berth to regionals. The next two games will determine seeding.

The Lady Mules couldn't get hot offensively, scoring five in the second quarter and three in the third on Wednesday. They lost to the Tigers 31-45.

Peyton Souvenir lead the team with 16 points and nine rebounds. Savannah Burdick scored six points. Maddy Mace added five points and five steals. Macie Elliott scored four points and pulled down seven rebounds. Grace Peacock had eight rebounds and one block. Ellie Leitz had five rebounds and one block.

The team travels to Rochester tonight (Friday) to face Ilwaco. If they win they will play the winner of the Raymond/Adna game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Chehalis at WF West High School for 3rd and 4th place. If they lose, they will play the loser of the Raymond/Adna game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Rochester High School for 5th and 6th place.
