District Basketball

Class 1B district begins with a bye for the Naselle Comettes. They were scheduled to play the Washington School for the Deaf on Saturday, but their opponents have opted not to continue into the post season. The Comettes will play the winner of the Mary Knight/Columbia Adventist game on Monday at Castle Rock High School at 4:30 p.m.

The Comet boys will face either Pope John Paul II or Firm Foundation Christian Academy on Thursday at 7 p.m., site to be announced.
