Chamber Crab & Oyster Feed set for February 20

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Crab & Oyster Feed at the Norse Hall on February 20. This will be the 31st year for this event.

The Crab & Oyster Feed is a fundraising event for the Chamber. Funds raised at this dinner help to support Bald Eagle Days and the fireworks show that coincides in mid-July.

Due to the large amount of attendees, there will be three seating times for this dinner. The first seating, at 3 p.m., will be family friendly. There will be beer and wine served, but only upstairs where minors will not be able to visit. The seating times at 5:15 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., will be for guests 21 and over as there will be beer and wine served both upstairs and downstairs.

Tickets for the Crab & Oyster Feed are available at the Bank of the Pacific Cathlamet Branch. Seats will be reserved for parties of six or more and parties of five or less will be able to choose their own seats at each dinner. Tickets are $32 per person.

In addition to crab and oysters, there will be baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and fresh bread served. Attendees are asked to bring their own condiments and crab cracking tools. Attendees are not permitted to bring their own alcohol on site. Participants will also be invited to purchase tickets for raffles with prizes donated from local businesses throughout Wahkiakum County.

For further information or to donate raffle prizes contact the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce at 795-9996.
