Commissioners' Summary

At the Wahkiakum County Commissioners meeting on November 24, the commissioners voted to allow Port 2 to have their attorney draw up an interlocal agreement to give Port 2 the right to continue to manage and make improvements to a boat launch on Skamokawa Creek at Skamokawa Vista Park.

They also agreed to make Christmas Eve a half day for employees and to hold a special meeting on December 29 for last minute vouchers.

The commissioners approved an extension for the ferry landing modification, which was set to expire on November 30, 2015 and approved the renewal of the contract for a Developmental Disabilities program between DSHS and Wahkiakum Health and Human Services.

Later that morning the commissioners met with Mayor Dale Jacobson and Town of Cathlamet Treasurer Tina Schubert to discuss how to continue funding the Julia Butler Hansen Municipal Swimming Pool.
