Middle school students raising funds

The Warriors for Well-Being Elective class at John C. Thomas Middle School has raised close to $300 for Thanksgiving dinners for the community by doing a Kiss the Donkey contest. The contest took place today (Wednesday.)

The 7th grade Elective class will hold a bake sale for charity on the day of the Christmas Lighting November 28, 4:30-7 p.m., in downtown Cathlamet near the Cathlamet Market. There will be sweets, baked goodies, and cider. Also, there will be Christmas hay rides with caroling downtown for $2. All proceeds will be donated back to the community to help with different needs.
