Basketball teams at practice

Practice for winter sports has begun, and at Wahkiakum High School, 16 girls have turned out for basketball, according to Coach Rob Garrett. Coach Todd Souvenir says that 15 boys have turned out this season with one out for the next month with a fractured foot. The Mules open their season at home on December 1 against Naselle.
