History society sets annual meet

The Wahkiakum County Historical Society Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled this Saturday at 11 a.m., at the Cathlamet Fire Hall with the meeting starting at noon. This event is a potluck luncheon.

The president will give an overview of the activities since the last annual meeting. Membership will be voting on election of officers with nominations accepted during the meeting.

"We do need to fill two board positions with one needing to come from the Westend," said representative Kari Kandoll. "We may need to get creative with phone conferencing for meetings during the winter months."
