Herrera Beutler asks for help to honor veterans

Jaime Herrera Beutler announced October 6 that she will share the stories of Southwest Washington’s veteran heroes on her website.

“Our military service members and veterans have sacrificed so much for our security and freedom. As a member of Congress, it is my duty to serve these brave men and woman by not only making sure our nation supports them as promised, but that we remember their stories and all they have done for us. Please help me honor our individual veterans by allowing me to share their stories, pictures and memories once again.”

For those residents who served in the military, Jaime Herrera Beutler invites them to submit photos and stories from their time in the service.

For the third year in a row, Herrera Beutler will post these stories and photos on her Facebook page and at JHB.House.Gov throughout the month of November.

Send stories and photos by Email: share.vet.stories@gmail.com or Mail: O.O Howard House, 750 Anderson St. Ste B, Vancouver, WA 98661.

Those who submit material are asked to include a short description of branch, title, and assignment for photos. Also, they are asked to be sure they have permission to share photos and stories before sending.
