Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ledtke of Skamokawa are proud to announce that their son, Bryan, has received an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clark College in Vancouver.
While attending Clark College Ledtke was the Chief Engineer for Clark Aerospace, a group which competed in a research competition put on by NASA, and led the team in designing and building a rocket with an automated launch platform. Ledtke and the Aerospace Team flew to Huntsville Alabama to present their entry to NASA and received excellent feedback for their outstanding design.
He also represented the Aerospace Team and the Engineering Department in a video demonstrating student excellence for the college's financial supporters.
One of his projects which will continue to benefit Clark College was to design a small robotic car which will be used in the class room as a teaching aid for all future engineering students.
Ledtke grew up in Skamokawa and received the Citizenship Award in addition to other honors when he graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 2007. He is now attending Washington State University in Vancouver as he pursues a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
