Anthony Setera, Jr.

Anthony Sylvester Setera, Jr. Born in Oregon City, Oregon February 7, 1933, went to be with his Savior on May 20, 2015. The eldest son of Anthony Stanley Setera, Sr. and Mary Theresa Setera (Belecz). Tony, as many called him was raised in Oregon City, OR and started his life with his wife Lois Anne Setera (Givens). They were married for 41 years when she passed in 1993.

He worked for Willamette Western for many years and then moved his family to Deer Island, OR on a farm then to Cathlamet, WA where he worked for Brusco Tug until the seas of Alaska came calling to go crab fishing. And the adventures continued throughout his life. Tony was always at home either on the sea or in the mountains mining. He finally retired last year, recently he was planting mimosa trees.

He was a loving and caring Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, and would give his shirt literally off his back for his friends. He is survived by his wife Beverly, Hico, TX. Daughters, Pamela Setera(Mike Lopata), Colville, WA, Vicki Brons (Lyle Hull), Colville, WA, Angela Wedekind (Jeff), Ellensburg, WA. Son Anthony S. Setera, lll (Vicki) Hoodsport, WA. Brother’s Carl Setera, (Judy), Oregon City, OR. Steve Setera (Amanda), Ukiaha, CA, Sisters Mary Lou Silvander, Estacada, OR, Theresa Nichols, (David), Walla Walla,WA, Joan Terry, (Don), Oregon City, OR.

He loved sharing antique toys & books with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Tony loved his family and friends with all his heart and was loved deeply in return. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him.
