The Naselle-Grays River Valley School District Board of Directors met for its monthly meeting on August 18.
The following personnel moves were addressed, mostly resulting in internal changes as staff moved positions from one district assignment to another.
Rachel Suomela will become a para-educator for the district, along with new hire Katie Bruce.
Cynthia Clark will become the district’s new library technician. Teacher Karen Nelson returns as a part-time educator in the kindergarten class. Istvan Matej was hired as groundskeeper and bus driver.
In new business, the board did a first read on Policy 3205, Sexual Harassment of Students. Fuel bids were accepted from Wilcox & Flegel and Ferrellgas, and the Highly Capable Plan for 2015-16 was approved.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for September 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the middle school commons.
