What's happening at the Fair?

Wow! Fair is here. Hope everyone is ready. The Superintendents have been working hard to get their buildings ready.

Next Monday entries start coming in. Check the fair book so you don't miss any deadlines. Monday entries include everything except livestock, gardening, floral and baking. You may enter between the hours of 3-9 p.m.

Tuesday’s entries include floral, gardening and baking. These entries are accepted from 3-9 p.m.

Wednesday animal entries are due. Market sale animals are to be here from 3-4 p.m. All other animals will need to be here by 9 p.m.

When you come to the fair grounds please look around and notice some of the changes. Different groups of volunteers have put in lots of time to make the fair grounds have a new look. A huge thank you to the volunteers who put on the Halloween Carnival, Haunted House and Flea Markets. The dollars you raised got the youth building painted and after fair we will start working on the inside. The building was painted by Kelly Hammond. A huge thank you to her for taking time out of her schedule to come and get it done. You are awesome.

You only have a few more days to support the Fair Royalty. If you have not bought your season pass or raffle tickets you can still purchase them until Monday. They are available at The Bank of the Pacific, Skamokawa Resort and The Duck Inn. After Monday they will be available in the fair office. Thursday at the gate they will be $7.

New to the entertainment line up: Thursday from 7-9 p.m., "The Kings Brothers” will be on the stage.

I hope to see all their fans out to see them, and for those of you who haven't heard the "Kings Brothers" you won't want to miss them.

Friday and Saturday's 7 p.m. bands are returning from last year and they are awesome so don't forget to come out and listen to them as well. The 4-H & FFA Market Sale has been moved to Friday at 6:30 p.m. You won't want to miss this.

Hope to see everyone at the fair.
