Richard Roald Kandoll, formally of Deep River died June 15, 2015 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born November 10, 1926 in Astoria, Oregon to Emil Mathias and Johanna Magdalena (Amundsen) Kandoll.
He graduated from Naselle High School in 1946. He served in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952.
He leaves behind three children Richard A. Kandoll of Naselle, Tammera R. (Kandoll) McGill of Vancouver and Victoria Kandoll of Long Beach and a sister Mabel (Kandoll) Herold of Yelm, WA. His parents and brothers Walter and Ernest Kandoll proceeded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall in Deep River at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 29. Potluck with sandwiches and beverages provided.
