After entering a guilty plea, Kristin M. Bergseng, 46, of Puget Island was convicted for possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine and assault in the fourth degree—domestic violence. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and is required to undergo an evaluation and treatment for domestic violence and substance abuse. He will be under the supervision of District Court and the Department of Corrections for two years.
Jessica Oltean aka Jessica Switzer, 30, of Battle Ground was convicted for taking a motor vehicle without permission in the second degree. She was sentenced to 22 months in jail for the Class C felony. She was taken into custody on May 20 for giving false information after being pulled over for speeding on SR 4. The vehicle was reported stolen on May 21 in Long Beach.
