Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Southwest Washington Transportation Planning Organization (SWRTPO) invites public input on the proposed Regional Vision and Guiding Principles for the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).
The SWRTPO is currently developing its long-range transportation plan for Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Pacific and Wahkiakum counties, as well as the Longview-Kelso, Rainier planning area. The Regional Transporation Plan will establish the strategic framework for meeting existing and future transporation needs for the region. The 20-year plan serves as a link between cities, county and state transportation planning efforts. The plan establishes a transportation vision for the future. A set of guiding principles, goals, and policies will be used to influence transportation investment decisions.
