Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Everyone loves a parade; do you?

Now is the time to start prepping for our 2015 Bald Eagle Days Annual Community Parade. This year the theme is “The Mighty, Mighty Columbia River.” Put your thinking caps on, talk to your friends, family, and co-workers. Let’s get creative and celebrate our fantastic and mighty Columbia River! Build a float, get a group together and walk, show off your trucks, tractors, boats, motorcycles, and more! Get that special car out, get it all shined up, put your honey by your side and slow cruise the streets of Cathlamet in the parade! If walking is your thing try pets, clowns, dancers, horses, and more! Let’s make this the biggest and best parade ever!

Think of all the ways in which the Mighty Columbia River has shaped our community, our history, our lives, and our legacy! Let’s pay tribute on July 18th!

If you are interested in appearing in the 2015 Bald Eagle Days Parade, please pick up your parade entry form at: Cathlamet Market, Moore’s Auto, Gragg’s General Store, Cathlamet Chevron, Skamokawa Resort, Bank of the Pacific, and The Duck Inn.
