Destry Roper is still running in memory of her mother, Sandi Nelson, and Saturday's outing in the Great White-tail Run sponsored by Wahkiakum 4-H made 1,095 days in a row.

Dogs enjoyed the races without having to worry about their times.

Skamokawa's Andrew Emlen finished strong, and another run was close behind.
