Class set for clay pot irrigation

On May 4 at 6:30 p.m., Luisa Simone will discuss clay pot irrigation using ollas. Olla irrigation is an ancient watering technique using clay pots buried in the ground that delivers water directly to the roots of plants. Ollas reduce water usage for plants and work great in raised beds and smaller gardens.

The class will be held for free in the Fair Exposition located in Longview at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
