Mule golfers do battle

April 27 match rescheduled to April 28

With our number one senior golfer Elliot Haney visiting Carnegie Mellon University,

Wahkiakum Mule freshman Bryce Good had to fly solo April 23 after a 3-hour drive through a driving rainstorm on the way to Ocean Shores. Bryce hit the ball well enough to finish second in the 10-man match losing by three with a 52. Bryce lipped out four putts or he might have captured his first medalist title.

The Mules' next match has been moved from the 27th to the 28th at Ilwaco.

On April 20, Haney had déjà vu from the previous match. He hit more fairways than the competition but came away with a fifth place 46 in the five-team meet in Raymond. Good had a faster group of players and found his tempo as the freshman shot 49, tying for eighth in the 16-man field.
