Wahkiakum County commissioners had a light agenda to tackle when they met Tuesday.
Commissioners signed a quit claim deed and other papers to sell a small lot in Skamokawa to Martin and Sue Kuller for the sum of $10.
Commissioner had approved the sale of the surplus property at a previous meeting and have been awaiting the paperwork to complete the transaction.
The commission voted to hold a public hearing May 5 to determine if it's in the county's best interest to sell a variety of surplus equipment, including the old ferry Wahkiakum.
Other items include two pickups, two sedans, a Chevy Blazer, a Ford Club Wagon, a 32-foot trailer and a dump box with a hydraulic hoist.
Once cleared for sale, Treasurer Tammy Peterson will advertise the items for bid.
Commissioners said they would try to determine a minimum bid for the ferry before the May 5 meeting.
The board approved a short-term loan of $500,000 to the Wahkiakum School District.
The district will use the money for its technology upgrades. The district will repay the loan over four years, $125,000 in November of 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the balance in 2018.
