March 6 — 9:44 a.m. Child Protective Services asked the sheriff’s department to aid in a situation with a baby. 10:31 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident who had a history of heart problems. 4:09 p.m. An employee in a Cathlamet office reported that she had been threatened by an angry customer. 7:41 p.m. A caller reported that a former spouse was on her property, thus violating a protection order. A deputy advised the man to leave and warned him that he would be arrested if he returned without a court order.
March 17 — 3:17 a.m. A caller reported large rocks on SR 4 near County Line Park. 12:18 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported the theft of tools. 6:34 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an Elochoman Valley resident who had fallen and hurt her leg.
March 18 — 11:54 a.m. A caller reported a possible drunken driver in the Elochoman Valley area. 11:57 a.m. A deputy was requested for a civil standby in the Rosedale area. 3:51 p.m. A possible theft was reported in Cathlamet. 4:33 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident with chest pain. 6:44 p.m. A runaway from Pacific County was located in the Rosedale area and released to her parents. 8:31 p.m. A caller reported that a possible drunken driver had almost hit him. 8:48 p.m. A caller reported being bitten by a dog on Puget Island.
March 19 — 3:11 a.m. A Puget Island resident reported that a couple had come onto her property and were stealing chickens. 10:04 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Cathlamet address to aid someone who was having chest pain. 12:38 p.m. A caller reported rocks on SR 4 near Nassa Point. 2:54 p.m. A caller reported that a child was being abused. 4:13 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an elderly Puget Island resident who was on blood thinners and had a nose bleed. 5:35 p.m. A caller reported domestic violence at a Puget Island home. 10:26 p.m. A Skamokawa resident reported that there was a cougar in his front yard. He was given the number for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
March 20 — 1:04 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported that he had received a fraudulent phone call from someone claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service. 2:06 p.m. A caller reported being bitten by a dog in the Elochoman Valley. 2:16 p.m. A caller reported that someone had defecated in the community garden greenhouse at Erickson Park in Cathlamet. 4:27 p.m. A caller reported a juvenile looking into vehicles in Cathlamet. 5:58 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an elderly Puget Island resident who was having chest pain and trouble breathing. 6:46 p.m. A subject was taken into custody after a vehicle stop. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found on him later during a search of his person. 7:40 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the Grays River area. 7:52 p.m. A caller reported an erratically driven vehicle headed westbound on SR 4 near County Line Park. 11:07 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report a possible threat of violence seen on Facebook. 11:22 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported finding alcohol in a juvenile’s room.
March 21 — 12:52 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that someone was yelling at him and making threats. A deputy spoke with both parties. 2:21 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that someone had stolen four half gallons of rum. 3:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided someone who had fallen on a log and hurt his back two days earlier. 5:17 p.m. A caller was concerned that a neighbor, who had been behaving strangely, was unwell.
March 22 — 1:57 p.m. The District 4 Fire Department and the Cathlamet Fire Department responded to the report of a chimney fire in the Elochoman Valley. 3:17 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a resident who had fallen in the Elochoman Valley. 6:39 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Skamokawa resident who was ill.
March 23 — 9:10 a.m. A caller reported the theft of a laptop and an iPod. 1:30 p.m. A caller was concerned that a man on a bike was drunk after witnessing him weaving in and out of traffic on SR 4. A deputy made contact with the man who turned out to be a transient with mental health issues. He had not been drinking, but had struggled to pull his trailer uphill. The deputy provided the man with a dry blanket in a bag because it was raining and the man was soaking wet.
