PTO expresses thanks for support

To The Eagle:

I would like to take a minute to express my sincerest thank you to the students and members of this community for making the 2015 PTO Talent Show a huge success! We never thought that this would be so big. The comments that I heard after the show were so appreciated. I believe that everyone on the PTO feels the same as I do. Job well done! Without the help of Kandice Merz this event probably would not have happened. It was her volunteering and help that got the ball rolling on this. Thank you so much!

A parent of one of the participants sent a video of her daughter’s performance to a talent show contest being held by the Cowlitz County Kiwanis Club with much larger prizes than us and was accepted. Way to go Sophie Forsberg-Crotty!

We would also like to mention that an honorable mention prize was awarded to Kaylee Dahl, she was amazing as well.

Judi Whittaker sang the song “Beam Me Up” in tribute to Arianna Lundin and sang it beautifully!

All of the participants did an amazing job. Like I have said before, we live in one of the best little towns on the map. We should be very proud!

Glen Crown did a positivly amazing job on the sound. Thank you so much for your help and spending the whole day there with us.

Volunteering is what the PTO is all about. Without the help and support of the community this would not have happened. So thank you so much to the people that worked hard. And to the families and organizations that gave the monetary donations for the prizes. Your support is so appreciated!

Thank you so much, Cathlamet and surrounding areas.

Bobbie J. Gaines

PTO President
