Artists’ studios are located throughout the Mid-Columbia, from Cascade Locks to The Dalles and Parkdale, Oregon to Trout Lake, Washington. The tour is free and self-guided with detailed maps available at http://www.gorgeartists.org as well as at area Chambers of Commerce and Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River.

The tour is a juried event, with artists representing the highest quality work available in the region in a broad spectrum of media, styles, and subject matter.

Less than an hour from Portland, the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is famous for its dramatic vistas, waterfalls, hiking trails, windsurfing, and burgeoning art scene. The region also offers great food, hand crafted wine and beer, and lodging for those wishing to take in the entire weekend.
