Olsen, Wegdahl, Hurley headed to all-state match

Three Wahkiakum Mule volleyball team members have been selected to compete in the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association 2015 Senior All State Volleyball Series.

Lady Mules Tori Wegdahl, an outside hitter and defensive specialist, and Baylee Olsen, a middle blocker, will play in the Class 1B/2B East/West game, and Mule Coach Kayli Hurley will be one of the coaches.

Also selected from the southwest district were Calli Hensch of Mossyrock, Karli Friese of Willapa Valley, and Emily Sanchez of South Bend.

The event will be held at Auburn-Riverside High School on March 14. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students with ASB.

The match times will be: 1B/2B, 2 p.m.; 1A/2A, 4 p.m., and 3A/4A, 6 p.m.
