Open call for artists

The Tsuga Art Association is interested in expanding its membership. The association is a co-operative of local artists that encourages the artistic development of its members and affords them a place to display and sell their art work.

There will be an informal “meet and greet” meeting on January 30 from 3-7 p.m. at the Tsuga Gallery, 70 Main St., Cathlamet.

Artists are asked to come by to chat with other local artists and share samples of their work. Potential new members will be juried by the general membership at its February meeting.

The art association is a membership organization that operates the Tsuga Gallery. Requirement for membership is residence in Wahkiakum County or Naselle and the artist must produce their own original art.
