Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
In last week's article about the annual bird count, a statement was incorrectly attributed to Andrew Emlen, regarding “120 species including two winter vagrants, the Snowy Egret and the Cedar waxwing.” They were not vagrants but birds from count week, or birds that were not seen on count day but are regular species in the area and were seen during the week of the event and thus can be counted.
