December 2 — 12:46 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Puget Island resident with chest pain. 10:04 a.m. A caller reported that a pit bull was roaming around Cathlamet. 2:02 p.m. The Puget Island Fire Department assisted a Puget Island resident when a horse fell in a ditch. 2:09 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident with chest pain. 5:38 p.m. A man with a child was seen trying to wave down drivers on SR 4 near Flandersville. 7:28 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported being harassed; a deputy responded.
December 3 — 10:02 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious man on SR 4 in the Deep River area. 4:41 p.m. A caller from Grays River reported that an angry family member would not leave the residence when asked. 4:55 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident who had fallen. 6:27 p.m. A vehicle heading westbound on SR 4 was seen swerving all over the road near Nassa Point.
December 4 — 3:33 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident who had fallen.
December 5 — 12:09 a.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a home invasion, but his spouse was concerned that her husband may have been hallucinating due to a possible overdose. At 12:46 a.m., the Cathlamet ambulance responded to evaluate the resident who had reported the home invasion. 12:58 a.m. The Skamokawa Fire Department and the Skamokawa ambulance responded to a chimney fire in Skamokawa. 2:35 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid an elderly Rosburg resident who was ill. 8:20 a.m. An empty vehicle was found off the side of the road on SR 4 in the Deep River area. 8:39 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosedale resident who had fallen. 5:08 p.m. A subject was taken into custody after a deputy investigated a civil matter in Rosburg, all initiated by a silent call to 911. 7:42 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Puget Island business; deputies were unable to contact the owner.
December 6 — 12:58 a.m. A bike was found near the grade school in Cathlamet. 10:07 a.m. A caller reported seeing a goose hunter on Puget Island, believing that the season had closed. 10:57 a.m. A Skamokawa resident reported a possible poacher after hearing shots fired near a herd of elk. 11:58 a.m. A Skamokawa resident reported that someone had broken into his home and was currently there. 1:50 p.m. The Skamokawa Fire Department responded to the report of a brush fire in the Skamokawa area. 3:01 p.m. Trash was left at the recycle bins near the high school in Cathlamet; names were found on items in the trash. 4:40 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported a water line break; the PUD was notified.
December 7 — 7:17 a.m. A caller reported a deceased deer on a Puget Island roadway; state patrol was notified and an officer was en route. 8:31 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an elderly Cathlamet resident with back pain. 11:09 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a Deep River resident who was having a seizure.
