Weekend concerts planned for Redmen Hall

Redmen Hall will be cheering up our gloomy Fall with 'Harvest Benefit' concerts on Saturday, November 15 and Saturday, November 22.

The first will present Jerry Ledtke, Pete Davis, and Becky Ledtke performing an entertaining blend of original and traditional music featuring guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and voice. This group has given concerts over Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon and have become well known for their style. The concert will open at 7:30 p.m., and will run to 9:30 p.m., with refreshments at the break. The concert will be $10 at the door.

The second concert will be held Saturday, November 22 starting at 7:30 p.m., featuring a band beginning to make a name for itself, Jillian Wise and her group. There will be more information about their presentation closer to the event.

Both of these concerts will be held at Redmen Hall and will be a benefit for the hall to raise money for improving exhibit displays.

Redmen Hall is located at 1394 SR-4 in Skamokawa. The Hall is open to visitors Thursday to Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Their telephone number is 360-795-3007.

The name that Jillian's band is 'starting to make' is Lazer Trash. Does the other group have a name? (ps If comments have forbidden characters, please tell us before we hit Submit and it wipes out our login and captcha info.)
