It's time for the annual Neewollah Day Halloween Poster Contest, and the winning posters may be seen in the window of The Wahkiakum County Eagle. Other posters are on display in other merchants windows.
Neewollah Daze Posters were judged for K through 5th grade this week. Winners are as follows:
1st place in each grade:
Abigail, Marga, Nick St. Onges, Boe Reid, Peter Vik, Selena Salis, and Kimberlee Watkins.
2nd place for each grade:
Dylen Watkins, Camren, Montana Stephens, Arwynn Haney, Jazzy Kliehans, Leandra Tischer and Angela Pascoe.
3rd place for each grade:
Ellie, Audrey, Maddisen Clark, Dalton Ashe, Lana, Delayne Whittle and Jessica Baker.
Prizes may be picked up at Bank of the Pacific.
Penny Paulsen, event coordinator would like to thank Erin Wilson and Ashley Turner for their helping with judging and to each child who participated.
The Neewollah Daze Costume contest will be held at Bank of the Pacific on Friday, October 31. Judging will begin at 4 p.m., and all participants will receive a goody bag courtesy of the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce.
