Candidates hosted

The Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities of Southwest Washington and its Advisory Council hosted candidates Dean Takko and Hugh Fleet on September 18 at Gaiser Hall on the campus of Clark College in Vancouver. The forum, attended by about 65 seniors, was dedicated to aging policy issues and Washington's readiness to meet the needs of a growing number of seniors. The event was sponsored by senior citizen advocates, including AARP Washington, the ElderCare Alliance, the Washington Association of Area Agencies on Aging and the Washington State Senior Citizens' Lobby.
