Hunter education classes scheduled

Hunter education volunteers will hold a series of classes to cover the basics of hunting and firearm safety August 2, 8 and 9. The classes are a prerequisite for obtaining hunting licenses.

Classes will be held at the Cathlamet Fire Hall.

The August 2 class will start at 8 a.m. and last most of the day. The August 8 class will run 6-8 p.m., and the August 9 class will start at 9 a.m.
