What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the Fair Office. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather.

Last weekend the 4-H had their yearly horse camp. I understand everyone had a good time. The 4-Her's picked rocks out of the arena; a big thank you to all of you.

We are looking for gate workers at the fair. If anyone has a couple spare hours and would like to work the gates give the office a call and we will get you set up.

We are still looking for new vendors so if you would like to have a booth at the fair give the office a call.

The Fair has several girls running for the title of Wahkiakum County Fair Queen. The Princesses at this time are Abbie Eaton, Tarah Wisner and Marci Dunham. These girls have Fair Passes for $6.00 which gets you into the fair all three days. They also have $1.00 Raffle Tickets for a X-Box 1, with secondary prizes a list of which will follow. They will be doing some fundraisers throughout the summer. I hope everyone gets out and supports the princesses as the money they earn helps fund the fair.

The Fair Office is still on limited time so if you need information or anything call the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The office number is 360-795-3480.

We will be having a clean up day this month to get all the final touches done before fair. Watch the article for the date and time. Then come out and help make the fairgrounds look beautiful.

The fair book has been printed and is ready for distribution. Animal entries will be due on July 25.

Have a safe July 4th.
