What's happening at the Fair?

Wow, what a car show for those of you who missed it, it was awesome! I would like to thank the Volunteers who came out and did the final touches on the Fairgrounds; you were all amazing and when you were done the fairgrounds looked wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Now it’s time to get ready for the fair. We are always looking for new vendors so if you’re interested please call the fair office and I promise I will get back to you. The Fair Royalty program will soon be getting underway. We have several young ladies that will be running this year. I will have the names for you next week. They will be selling Fair Passes for $6, which gets you into the fair all three days. They will also be selling Fair Raffle Tickets for $1. The grand prize this year is an "X-box 1." And I am sure they will be doing personal fundraisers so keep your eyes out for these.

We will be having the Karaoke Contest again this year on Thursday Night, so start practicing. It was a lot of fun last year.

Friday will be kids day and the Reptile Road Show will be here again. Several local entertainers are playing at the fair this year so check the schedule and come see some good entertainment.

We need volunteers to work the gates again this year. If you have a couple spare hours during the fair and would like to work a gate shift call the office and we will sign you up.

The Fair office hours are still limited. Next week I will be in the office Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2-5 p.m.
