May 26 – 3:17 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported that an individual had been yelling and threatening to kick in a door. 8:40 p.m. A woman was seen leaving a Cathlamet cemetery with flowers she had collected from graves.
May 27 – 11:26 a.m. A Grays River resident reported suspicious vehicles coming and going at odd times. 3:52 p.m. A caller reported an argument outside a Cathlamet business. 4:11 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported five flat tires at his home and two flat tires at a neighbor’s home. 5:06 p.m. A caller reported seeing several juveniles riding four wheelers and motorcycles without helmets in the Skamokawa area. 5:21 p.m. A caller reported hitting a dog on Puget Island.
May 28 – 10:07 a.m. A Naselle business reported that a subject had pumped gas and drove off without paying for it; the vehicle was believed to be at a Skamokawa business. 12:16 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle had been parked in front of a Cathlamet business for more than two hours. 1:36 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident with a complication due to diabetes. 2:03 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a Rosedale resident. 2:22 p.m. A Rosburg resident reported a suspicious man in his yard. 4:33 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an elderly Cathlamet resident who had fallen.
May 29 – 1:20 a.m. Polk County asked the sheriff’s office to check a Rosedale residence for a subject with a felony warrant; deputies were unable to locate the individual. 5:14 a.m. Grays Harbor County requested assistance in a search for a missing woman; she was later located. 8:40 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid an elderly Rosburg man who was feeling weak. 9:14 a.m. An Elochoman Valley resident who had just repaired two flattened tires reported waking up to find two more flattened tires. 3:59 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that someone had stolen a motor from a boat. 5:24 p.m. Deputies, the District 4 Fire Department and the Cathlamet ambulance responded to a one vehicle accident on Puget Island. 6:03 p.m. An individual was seen camping at the entrance of the Cathlamet library. 7:07 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a disturbance and ongoing problems with another individual. 9:48 p.m. A Rosedale resident reported that someone had been stealing landscaping stones surrounding a fire hydrant nearby. 10:08 p.m. A caller reported an injured elk lying in the westbound lane of SR 4 near Rosburg. 10:31 p.m. A Grays River resident complained that dogs had been barking until 3 a.m. at a neighbor’s home.
May 30 – 3:51 p.m. A caller reported a problem with a previous tenant at a home on Puget Island; the caller was advised that it was a civil issue. 4:06 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported threatening phone calls. 8:15 p.m. A caller reported an injured deer in the eastbound lane of SR 4 west of Skamokawa. 9:36 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported harassing phone calls.
May 31 – 5:52 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a residence near the east end of the county to assist a man in respiratory distress. 9:54 a.m. A caller reported the theft of medication from a vehicle in Cathlamet; the medication was located. 9:56 a.m. A Cathlamet business reported a theft. 1:19 p.m. A burglar alarm was activated at a home on the east end of the county; deputies investigated and found the residence was secure. 7:58 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle had broken down on SR 4 in the Elochoman Valley area. 8:20 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported a case of phone fraud. 8:24 p.m. A caller reported that power was out at a residence on Puget Island; the PUD was notified. 8:42 p.m. A caller reported seeing a girl walking down a road in the Elochoman Valley with a jug, which the caller assumed contained alcohol; the caller had seen a group of juveniles carrying jugs and flipping people off earlier in the day. 9:36 p.m. A caller reported a lost debit card that had last been used at a Skamokawa business.
June 1 – 6:42 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a man who was having an allergic reaction. 1:31 p.m. A caller reported that aggressive dogs had bitten another dog at a Skamokawa park. 1:49 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident with respiratory issues. 3:12 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported a suspicious man on his property; the man left when confronted. 6:20 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported a dispute with a family member. 8:43 The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an elderly Cathlamet resident who was feeling weak.
