The Naselle High School Drama Club presents: "Fame Jr." presented through special arrangement and supplied by Music Theatre International. Based on the book by Jose Fernandez, with lyrics by Jacques Levy and music by Steve Margoshes.
The play will take place at the Naselle High School on May 23 at 7 p.m., May 24 at 7 p.m. and May 25 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. For more information call the Naselle School at 360-484-7123.
The cast of characters includes Grace Zimmerman as Miss Ester Sherman; ShalinWulf as Ms. Greta Bell; Chloe Zimmerman as Mrs. Myers; Zach Thorsen as Mr. Sheinkopf; Cameron Burch as Nick Piazza; Savannah Zimmerman as Serena Katz; Kayti Nelson as Carmen Diaz; Aaron Davall as SchlomoMetzenbaum; Chloe Zimmerman as Mabel Washington; Tyler Verhulst as Tyrone Jackson; Selah Wulf as Iris Kelly; Jesse Montoya as Joe Vegas; Amethyst Wirkkala as Grace (Lambchops) Lamb and Cody Kirkman as Goodman (Goody) King.
Dancers include Leah Tuutu, Angel Evans, Zany Wulf, Amethyst Wirkkala, Grace Zimmerman, ShalinWulf, Chloe Zimmerman, Savannah Zimmerman, Kayti Nelson and Selah Wulf.

The story revolves around students who are admitted into the 'Fame' Performing Arts High School in the 1980's. The story takes the audience through four years of student academic and personal struggles as they grow and develop their skills and look toward their futures in the Arts, specifically Music, Dance and Acting. The show features several showstopper numbers such as the famous Broadway show "Fame" number.
