John R. Lindsey

John Richard Lindsey, 63, of Skamokawa died April 23, 2014. He moved to the area with his family in the sixties. He graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1970. He was a dairy farmer until 1998 when he retired.

He married Elaine King in 1976. She survives him at home. He was preceded in death by his son J.R. Lindsey, a brother William “Butch” Lindsey and a sister Sharon Goodman.

He is survived by daughters Kim Arambula, Georgie Lindsey and Jackie Peters and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the Skamokawa Volunteer Fire Department and served as Fire Commissioner. He was devoted to the fire department and working with his son J.R.

There will be no service at John’s request. Dowling Funeral Home of Cathlamet is in charge of arrangements.
